Thanks for checking out Sharp Tabs! This is a Chrome extension made by a solo developer to help you manage your tabs more easily. These terms are here to keep things clear and friendly.

1. Using Sharp Tabs

By using Sharp Tabs, you agree to these simple terms. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out at support@sharptabs.com.

2. What Sharp Tabs Does

Sharp Tabs is a Chrome extension for better tab management, including vertical tabs and some customization. Every feature is free and works without an account. AI features call an AI model, so they need either your own Gemini API key or an optional AI subscription that covers those costs.

3. Optional AI Subscription

If you choose the optional AI subscription, thank you! It lets you use AI features without your own API key and helps keep the project going. You can cancel anytime, and if you have any issues, just let me know and I'll do my best to help.

4. Respectful Use

Please use Sharp Tabs as intended and don't try to break it, crack it, or create clones based on it's code without permission.

5. Privacy

Your privacy matters. Sharp Tabs doesn't collect any personal or sensitive data at all . We only store your email address if you create an account, which is only needed for the optional AI subscription. We also store details about your Sharp Tabs account (registration date, email verification status, subscription details), you're free to use Sharp Tabs without an account.
We only optionally Anonymously track the non-sensitive applied settings (once per day max when you close the settings page), this is to get stats about which settings are most used, and help guide development. You can easily toggle this off at any time in the general settings section at the top of the settings page.

6. No Guarantees

I do my best to keep Sharp Tabs working well, but sometimes things might break or not work as expected. If you run into issues, please let me know and I'll try to fix them!

7. Changes to These Terms

If these terms change, I'll update this page. By continuing to use Sharp Tabs, you're agreeing to the latest version of the terms. I will add a message on the app's settings when this is done.
